I can attest to all of this, and I yet do clean my eyes and surrounds day and night.

Mine started off in the tropics.

But just a few weeks ago, I had ocular rosacea - what comes first, rosacea or the ocular version? In my case they both presented together.

I now have to be so vigilant about things, no makeup, and warm compresses if there's even a hint of anything starting.

And here's a thought. Though I regularly wash my pillows through the warmer months, I don't

tend to in winter, though pillow slips are done weekly.

Who knows?

But in all of this I swear by warm eye-baths if I even suspect something is happening.
