I asked permission to plant wildflowers in the easement, in a suburb that was developed 70 years ago. They said no for two reasons, on being they might make the easement a pavement one day, and the other,, wait for it, people walking might get hurt.

So there you are wildflowers...you are such a danger.

I am hoping that ins spring (autumn here right now) I will have seriously-reduced our lawns.

As for humans, stupidity, ignorance of humans, you have said it all. I despair too.
