I am totally bewildered by war. Just finished reading Ken Follett's Winter of the World, (part of a trilogy), and though I had studied British and European history in school, I had NO idea about the 'winter' (for want of a better term) that people were living in . And god love them, that's what Ukrainians are living now. What human has the right to inflict such suffering on people? I'm at the stage where I cannot bear to watch. It's too distressing.
