I bought my husband a gorgeous Aran sweater 25 years ago. I have had to fix a few little things, but I did it from the inside, and you'd never know. At the risk of shocking you I have washed it in the washing machine (best WM I have ever had)and it comes out as new.

Now THAT would make a great bear...but then I think it has another 25 years; life as a jumper...oh the dilemma. 🤣
