Hm!!! I wrote to council and asked if I could turn our ragged median strip into a wildflower garden. Big mistake. I should just have done it. The answer was a rather definitive NO, because, one day they may decide to make the strip a pavement. The suburb in over 70 years old!!!

But it's okay. I will just turn my lawn into one and if they escape, I can't and won't be held responsible.
