I'm a Scot, but a long-time Australian citizen. We have solar panels on our roof as do many others. There;s also a move afoot to make places all-electric. Have been meaning to write about it. There is one already established, where everyone in the community commits to living all-electric, which includes cars down the track. Exciting times. All of this, however small, adds up, and you never know, this cooperative networking might make services less onerous on the poorer amongst us.
