Hi Tamara, so nice to hear from you.

Thanks for your comment. I did enjoy writing this, thought behind the scene I was thinking, what if I DON'T find something to wear?

Yesterday a parcel arrived. It was from my daughter, and in it was a dress...bit of a cold dress for May in Canberra.

The dress fitted perfectly (give or take taking 15cm or so from the hem). What shocked me was there was no zip in the dress, so one had to rely on the elasticated waistline to get into it, and the pure plasticity of this little number. It made me wonder, given I know how much roughly, the prices of these dresses, how much the behind-the-scene labourers are being paid. I know it's very little.

The dress itself I know I could have made myself in days gone by.

Squiz...isn't it a terrific word! You son has great taste.

I plan to write a sequel to this Tamara. Oh my goodness, the joys of online shopping...the joys of doing ANY shopping. 💜💜💜
