Hi Stella, a very well-written story. Thank you. Most people have no idea about all of this, and you see them buying huge bottles of it, because it;s cheap.

But even if you buy olive oil you need to be very sure of its source and its purity.

I live in Australia and used to happily buy my organic olive oil from Italy and Spain. Sadly, no longer.

I watched an ABC program on OO being taken from there, to a part of Europe where the oil is used to top up industrial oil to be sold as OO. I was outraged. This is OUR health that is being compromised.

So sadly, I no longer buy overseas OO, and only buy locally-produced oil whose origins I can trust.
