Hi Patricia I have had that feedback too, and it's why I suggest choosing a spot where it's out of sight.
Its the same here. We are not allowed to plant wildflowers in the easement, but it's okay to use chemical sprays, the very reason we are now at a tipping point.
So, my wildflowers will be in my garden, and when they die down, I will mow them back, ready for next year. The garden will be neat.
The more I delve into this, the more I understand about the world under our feet that keeps us alive, yet few know about, and so, we don't need council to make uninformed decisions about our welfare.
I spoke with a local council agent. He told me he despairs, but the rules were made fifty years ago and he can't get anyone to change them.
I find that hard to swallow, to be honest.
Maybe we will have to wait till we are all choking to death before change can be made.
It scares me, to be honest.
Thanks for commenting, though, and I hope you can forgive my lengthy response. 💜💜💛
