Hi Lindy and fellow Aussie - I feel your pain. It is all rather worrying, and if exploding and losing it at times is your way of coping, so be it!

We have been pretty lucky, so far. I am in Canberra and but for wearing masks, life has gone on mostly as normal.

My poor sister in Scotland, on the other hand, has been locked down for well over a year. But for the fact that her grandson lives with her, I think she may well have gone mad.

With my cousin, she has gone back to church, which, she assures me, is comforting. And to that I say: whatever floats your boat. They have to ring the priest and 'book' a seat ,and the first time she did that he asked if she would want smoking, or non-smoking seats (just to cheer you up).

Keep writing. That gets things out of your system. really nice to read your work

Take care now.
