Hi Harry, when I was teaching very young children, and instilling the elements of punctuation, I encouraged them to use lots of exclamation marks for surprises, and fear, and excitement. I figured that their year four onward teachers, could quietly excplain otherwise. From memory, I think Susan might have been in my class!
