Hi Allison, I live in Australia, and in so many ways am ashamed of the treatment of Aboriginals here.

Though things are improving, many are still marginalized, they still live (poorly) in the outback, and are largely forgotten about.

The present government is much more intent in giving them a voice in Parliament. I say, bring that on, and not with caveats.

I do wonder how on earth any one race could see themselves as superior to another, but it happened and it is still happening.

Addressing the origin, and allowing our students forum for discussion and change, is the only way to stamp this out.

It might take some hard work, some staying power and miracles to happen, but we must believe it can happen.
