Hey Don, as a teacher now looking from the outside in, I can tell you NOTHING as changed since the 19th century is far as teaching is concerned. In fact, may I say it could be worse?

Oh everything looks better, and is prettier, but it's not linked to either reality, or needs of society.

We need thinkers and innovators at the helm. They are AWL.

Good on you that you have taken responsibility for being learned. But I suspect you will have to extricate yourself from the classroom, then offer yourself up for consultancy.
