Here's one I love and stand by. It was written by the famous Robert Burns, our Scottish bard (poet).

O wad some Power the giftie gie us To see oursels as ithers see us.(Makes no sense to you?)

So here's the translation: If only we could be gifted the power to see ourselves as others see us.

I think about that one often. It sure turns behaviour around.
