Have never heard of LaffYy Taffy, but i grew up in Scotland.

My very favourite treat was Highland Toffee.

From memory there were eight square. Though I didn't know it at the time, I was hooked on sugar. This bar was almost pure sugar. I quickly scoffed it, square by square, always feeling quite sick afterwards.

My best friend at the time used to suck (sook, if you are Scottish), on it and she'd drag it out it to twice its size. By then I was so envious of her. Mine was gone!
