H Ted...I wrote about the leather industry when I first found Medium, about the treatment of the animals (when still alive). It was a bit sickening.

So thinking this movement was in the 70s, that is pretty amazing.

Gosh where do we go, Ted? Leather aint so good. Plastic's out. Fish leather, which by the way, is very strong and durable, but on the expensive side. We're assured the skins would otherwise be thrown away.
