Great researching, as always Tammy, but where profit is factored in, (read, ALWAYS), none of it will be good for our health, despite their feel-good titles, and the pockets of others will be well and truly lined.

I recall shopping in a QLD supermarket, and asking for organic meat. The salesman, who''d clearly done the course, had his spiel all prepared, and explained that no, they no longer do organics, but they had something even better. He took us to the plant-based section. My goodness, the wording was so enticing. Poor man. He was very upset that we weren't interested.

I do most of my shopping at the farmers' markets, not because I am super-rich, but because I need to for the health of my family. By opting out of mass-produced food, I have turned the health of two family members around. I believed we were eating well, but the reality was otherwise.

It's not easy. Cooking from scratch can be challenging, but I truly believe that it's what we all need to do to, and that can be done on a budget.

Thank you for such a well-researched article.
