I had a cousin who was a year ahead of me. She was a nasty piece of work, and did all sorts of things to make herself the dominant cub in the pack.

We shared a classroom in a very small parish school.

The thing is, my friend and I often got to help the teacher mark other students' work ( I know, really professional!) and that included hers.

As you might imagine, she hated us, and spent most of her wake hours planning against us.

She was very pretty, so when things went awry the teachers would say ... Theresa wouldn't do that.

My friend and I were never given a hearing.
