Gosh I loved this article Margherita. I cannot imagine not being a reader. I too was a teacher, and it was hard to inspire some children to read. Those who did fared so much better in debate than those who were reluctant.

We've always had reading time as a family, reading to children, and silent reading. I cringe when I go into someone's home and the TV, the monolithic thief of time, not only stays on, but impacts on conversation.
