Eric Bogle arrived in Adelaide the year we left, and joined with John, and others, to form Colcannon - Irish word for potato! Eric is also a Scot. When you have time, look up his song 'Leaving Nancy'. Nancy was his mother. It's a bit of a Tear jerker. He's an excellent song writer.
