Children can be so cruel. The most cruel, I have found, are those who are not strong within themselves, those who are wanting, those who envy! I wish I could introduce you to my friend James. I taught him in year four and quiet as he was, he could hold the cruel children to account. He was the valedictorian in his final year of school. That did not come as a surprise to me. It's interesting Art, I can recall all the generous, inclusive students, and I can recall many of the cruel ones too. I now wonder how they are doing. Does time and tide change them?
