By now Lina, you will have realised I am a Scot, though my home is in Australia.
I found this for you. It's a good read. (below!)
I went to university in Glasgow, and it was a pretty miserable place to be, dirty, with lots of poverty.
These days it too is a very lovely city. all cleaned up, and now sporting lovely architecture.
You should write about it.
I am from Robert Burns country so the poems and songs he wrote were ever-popular there. Burns is also a good study. He died at 37 so imagine what more he would have accomplished had he lived a long life.
