As you say, there;s always one!

Mine happened years ago after a miscarriage. I'd been going to the doctor for a pain in my breast and had' put me on mild antibiotics.

After three weeks I woke up the a blue breast, as in bruise-blue. It was shiny kind of like a large blue grape.

We went to casualty where fortunately the surgeon, a female had just recovered from the same infection.

Anyway, they tried all sorts of things, but in the end I was scheduled for surgery. I came out with all these tubes wound through the channels in my breast. Looked so much worse than it probably was.

In the morning this nurse came in and asked if I'd had a shower. There I was hooked up to bags, with tubes in my breast, etc.

"Oh for heaven's sake," she said when she realized I didn't know what to do, picked up all my bits and pieces and stomped into the bathroom with me in tow."

I burst into tears in the bathroom. One of the other nurses reported her. It wasn't the first time she's behaved like that. Maybe not cut out for the job?
