As I was reading this it occurred to me that, that is why so many women have unplanned pregnancies. And then, your last paragraph validated that. I thought much of that was covered in high school.

In less affluent areas here in Australia, they have a program that introduces young women to the realities of motherhood, babies programmed to cry rather loudly at inconvenient times. The students are required to take turns at taking the babies home, and caring for them, males as well as females. It's brilliant!
