I despair about the huge number of people I see who are obese, but who put a new stamp on what it means to be obese. In my whole life, until recently, I had never encountered the kinds of body shapes I am now seeing. This is not normal.

What breaks my heart is that many of them are not that old, some with young children who are also exhibiting the signs.
