It saddens me beyond belief that we can't sit down and discuss our differences.

We don't have to change everything, but we do have agree to take those tentative steps forward and work out some compromises.

Given that we all must live our lives as best we can, why on earth would people spend time exercising hatred, and killing so many in their righteous demands?
