The toys all came alive that day.
Jeremy had always assumed he was First Fiddle and would be until he grew up, whenever that was. Right now it was like playing in an orchestra with no conductor.
The cacophony was not music to his ears.
“Violin,” he called, “get outside and tune your strings. What you’re playing is not music to my ears.”
“And you, Flute. You’ll find a space beside the vegetable crop where you can listen to yourself play.”
Jeremy’s first fiddle assumption, suddenly came back to bite him.
The players ceremoniously united as rock musicians par excellence.
