Acclaimed Scottish food writer and critic, Joanna Blythman, has lots to say on the topic of food generally, but also about the chicken industry in particular. https://sustainablefoodtrust.org/news-views/five-foods-i-never-eat/

The only way we can really be assured of quality is to have our own chickens and feed them optimally.

I'm imagining a few cottage industries popping up in the future, since there is really nowhere to go.

We have a fabulous farmers' market that is 'policed', policed in the sense that random checks are done on farms to ensure compliance. Stall holders breaking the rules are given their marching orders on the spot.

Everything is a little on the costly side, but ill-health costs so much more. Of course these days as families struggle to put food on the table, the dichotomy of where and how to spend is such a challenge,

Thanks for highlighting Trisha.
