Absolutely wonderful!

I wish I'd read this a long time ago. And yet I have no excuses. The poem you shared I have read many times, and loved it.

I wish we could make Kahlil Gibran's poem mandatory reading for parents on an annual basis. But back to the story of the caterpillar...dying, totally short-changed because of the blind intervention by a doctor.

I wrote a story about a caterpillar struggling to get out of its cocoon, being helped by the boy watching, and its life being forever compromised.

It's in struggle that we best find ourselves.
