A post from the heart Walter, but I can tell you this. I hate the term, 'people of color'. We need to get rid of that. I have taught so many children from every part of the world, and I and my colleagues, have embraced them as children. Children don't make the distinction between color. It's adults, one who have grown up with hatred.

Here's a line of a folk song written by an English singer: It's not because they feel that they are different after all. It's because they hear the trumpeting of hate, and its loud call. It's because their parents tell them there's a difference in their skin, and that mixing up the color is to them, a mortal sin.

The song was written after a fight had broken out in an English playground.

Teach your children to stand tall. Teach them to be brave. Teach them to be confident. And above all, teach them to be wonderful human beings, just as you are. They will thrive.

Sadly, there is no antidote for ignorance.
