A Possible Solution To Ketogenic Dietary Constraints, Where Bread Is Not Up For Grabs!

A loaf of bread, a jug of wine, and thou…maybe!

Who doesn’t love bread? I’m not referring to the bland, super-soft, already-sliced, lasts-as-long-as-you-care-to-keep-it variety, that is as cheap as chips, and and that many people buy.

I’m referring more to the artisan breads that still have power over me. I just found these gorgeous quotes about bread that I have to share with you first.

‘With a piece of bread in your hand you will find Paradise under a pine tree.’ or…

If thou tastest a crust of bread, thou tastest all the stars and all the heavens.’

Paradise? Heaven…that was probably before the food giants got their fingers in the pie of cheapness, their just add crap method of production!

The last time I ate any of that kind of bread was in a country town close to Canberra, just some six months ago when we were all a little home-bound due to Covid restrictions. It was not a deliberate act, let me tell you.

That was the one coffee shop that was open, so when competition is not around, standards can, and usually do fall.
