A New Kid On The Block? It’s A Corker!

“Oh I love your wallet, she said. “I just ADORE leather.”
“You do? Well this one’s not leather. Sorry to disappoint you.”
“Plastic?” she asked, turning up her nose at me.
“Perish the thought,” I answered hotly. There’s more than enough plastic in the world.”
“So it’s not leather, and it’s not plastic. Beeswax by any chance?”
She really WAS plumbing the depth of the ocean.
And so the conversation went on. My friend is a pretty snobby kinda girl and the thought that anybody would choose another material over leather was more than her pretty little head could cope with.
There’s a lot she can’t cope with if I am to be brutally honest!
As long as things are leather, with an impressive little tag that tells the world that she paid a fortune for it, (read Prada, Gucci etc), she’s a happy little cabbage, AKA, a fashion snob.
Yes, she’s led a blinkered life. She’s never been short of money. So why should she care? Why indeed!
Because other people are suffering because she doesn’t!
