A Christmas Like No Other

Oh the fun you will have. It is truer than true…the risks you will take and the things you will do…

The letter arrived almost one week before Christmas, and caused a ripple of excitement all around the world. It was addressed to each and every child. This was something that had never happened before.

Somehow Santa had woven a little of his traditional magic. How he did it, we will never know, but he managed somehow.

Every child, in every time zone throughout the world, received the letter at the exact same same hour. Even more magical was that the letter was written to each child personally.

So, if your name was Peter, the letter would read:

Dear Peter…

If your name happened to be Sara, it would read:

Dear Sara…

And that’s where the magic ended. The rest of the letter contained exactly the same words, a message, a request that hopefully would change the world for the better. It read:

Dear Peter,

It’s Santa here. As you know it is almost Christmas and I’m wondering if you might be willing help me out.

You see, because of the Corona Virus, I have been self-isolating in the North…
