A call to action Sudarsan is a way of people engaging with you. Say, for instance, I was writing about writing fiction, and I mention that each chapter ending should have a cliffhanger.

A cliffhanger is where you leave your audience/reader, dangling from a cliff, so to speak. They write something that draws you, the reader, in, and you really want to continue the story.
