When I read this to my class I'd explain that when Id finished reading, I didn't want hem to say ONE word. Not to make a sound. Not to look at each other.

Instead I wanted them to think about a 5 word sentence that spoke to them. It was amazing what the students came up with.

That book we read over and over and over again, and always the students had something different to offer.
